Production on the new brand signage for Ocean Place Resort & Spa has been completed at National Sign Corporation. The 16 foot circle icon is ready for installation on the exterior of the building.
United Capital Corp. hired Amaniac Design to develop a new logo for their hotel. Project objectives included creating a new and edgy brand image that would compete with hotels in the surrounding area, targeting audiences from New York and New Jersey, as well as, Philadelphia residents that might typically frequent Cape May, Wildwood, Ocean City, and Atlantic City. Additional project objectives included creating a brand image that would capture the essence of a wave in iconic form and have visual impact in large format on the side of the hotel — creating local brand awareness of the hotel and its amenities.
Installation of the 16′ diameter Ocean Place icon was a success thanks to the National Sign team and their local installation partner DCI Signs & Awnings in New Jersey. Spanning over 28′ in height, the new Ocean Place brand has taken its prominent place atop the iconic hotel on both the north and south sides. As repairs following hurricane Sandy and resort renovations wrap up, the new brand image comes at a perfect time.
